In the perspective of Islamic Shariah, terrorism is a crime against humanity and warrants capital punishment. Spreading terror by way of random killing, injuring people, sabotaging public and private property and doing mischief in the land is a crime. The holy Qur’an says:

25. Du’a to Ward Off Evil Spells, Knots and Eyes
Transliteration:
a) Bismil-lah-hir-rahmaan-nir-rahim.
Qul a’uzubi rabbil falaq (1), Min shar-ri maa khalaq (2), Wa min shar-ri ghaasiqin izaa wa qab (3), Wa min shar-rin-naf-faathati fil ‘uqad (4), Wa min shar-ri haasadin izaa hasad (5). (Surah Al-Falaq, 113)

Question 13: Is the Muslim entitled to blend his/her faith with other faiths or creeds?
Answer 13: In no way should a Muslim adopt other creeds or principles which conflict with the fundamentals underlying the Islamic doctrine. Monotheism runs counter to polytheism, nor does sunna (Prophet’s words and deeds) agrees with innovations. Likewise, the love of God is incompatiable with the love of some other power, etc.

Wa immaa yanza ghan-naka minash-shaitaani nazghun, fasta ‘izbil-lahi, in-nahu sami’un ‘alim.
