30. Du’a for Relief from Hardships

a) Transliteration:

Rabbanaa laa tuaakhiznaa in-nasinaa aw akhta’naa, rabbanaa wa laa tahmil ‘alainaa isran kamaa hamaltahu ‘alal-lazina min qablinaa, rabbanaa wa laa tuhamilnaa maa laa ta qata lanaa bih, wa ‘fu annaa wagh firlanaa war hamnaa anta maulaanaa fansurnaa ‘alaa qawmil kaafirin.

Translation:

Lord, take us not to task if we forget or fall into error; Lord, place us not under the responsibility in the manner of those whom You placed under responsibility before us; Lord, burden us not with that which we have not the strength to bear; overlook our defaults and grant us forgiveness and have mercy on us; You are our Master, so grant us succour against the disbelievers.
